Hypnotherapy for Anxiety

Anxiety is an unpleasant feeling that we all experience at times.

It is a word often used to describe when we feel 'uptight', 'irritable', 'nervous', 'tense', or 'wound up'. When we are anxious we normally experience a variety of uncomfortable physical sensations (increased heart rate, sweating palms, jelly legs, loss of appetite) and psychological symptoms (excessive worrying, over thinking, catastrophising).


Anxiety can be brought on by a many number of things; by a fear of something that happened, or what we think happened and something which may happen. And whereas stress is something that will come and go as the external factor causing it (be it a work, relationship or money problem, etc.) comes and goes, anxiety is something that can persist for a very long time.


For many of us, anxiety is a normal, if unpleasant, part of life, but for others it can develop into something much bigger.


Studies suggest that 1 in 4 of us will develop an anxiety disorder at some stage in our life. Hypnotherapy can help.
